        To encourage interdisciplinary and peer learning
        To support and promote local food access/awareness
        To conduct well organized and accesible design research
        To incubate sustainable entrepreneurial business initiatives

THE FORMAT:
The Productive Collective is leading a multi-year body of research through architectural studios, advanced workshops, and Gateway projects at the Boston Architectural College with various community partners. Students and constituents engage in 'learning through making' guided by the Productive Collective Team. The constellation of projects at various scales contribute to a collective body of research that contributes to the fields of urban farming, design education, and models of alternative practice.
